Spirit Care Can Help!

Spirit Care Mission Statement:

To proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord.
To touch the lives of those who are struggling and need answers.
To give a word in season to him who is weary.
To know that new life is available for anyone who asks with a sincere heart.

Spirit Care Goals

  • Honor Chirst First and Foremost
  • Recognize that we are created in the image of God as a triune person of spirit, soul and body.
  • Promote healing of health to the whole person through biblical perspectives.
  • Proclaim and minister freedom to the captives.
  • Teach truths and applications that will help the spirit man develop and grow to become more like Jesus Christ.
  • To follow and adhere to God's Word.

Note From Spirit Care

July 2008

Do you remember seeing road signs that say "Work in Progress"? At times we may feel like a sign over our lives might read "work has stopped". Are you going through trials? Maybe it's your health or the health of a loved one. Maybe your trial involves family concerns, financial problems, or any of life's many difficulties. Sometimes we become discouraged and we may react just like the writer of Psalm 43.--Who says: O God, take up my cause. Defend me against the ungodly people. Rescue me from unjust liars.--(it sounds like this writer is having some big problems) Then he declares "For you are my God". Then he reverts back to saying "I wander around in darkness, oppressed by my enemies" Yes, there is a way out.....The writer changes his confession and goes on to say "Send out your light and truth; let them guide me. Let them lead me to your holy mountain, to the place where you live. There I will go to the altar of God, to God--the source of all my joy. I will praise you with my harp, O God, my God! The writer concludes with: Why am I discouraged? Why so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again--my Savior and my God.

Remember you are on a journey and you are a "work in progress". Continue to look up and be encouraged because God is on your side, and he has made you more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ.

Blessings,
